Kada bih morala birati Top 5 make
up proizvoda, vjerovali ili ne, sjenila se ne bi našla među njima. Ne znam
zašto no sa sjenilima prolazim faze kada ih obožavam i uživam u svakodnevnom
kombiniranju različitih nijansi ili onu drugu, kada uopće ne posežem za njima i
sve što stavljam na kapke je malo korektora i transparentni puder za setiranje.
If I had to choose the Top 5
make up products, believe it or not, eye shadows would not be among them. I
don't know why but I go through two different phases with the eye shadows.
Sometimes I adore and enjoy playing with them and combining day-to-day
combinations with different shades but on the other hand there can be days when
I do my make up without any eye shadow included. Everything I put on the lid is
a little bit of concealer and a transparent powder.

paletu, na prvi sam pogled znala da ću je često koristiti. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Volume
II limitirana paleta dio je Tarte
Spring 2017 kolekcije koja je izašla u 12.mjesecu 2016. godine. Prethodi
joj Tarte Rainforest of the Sea paleta. Razlika u paletama je što prva sadrži
toplije, a druga hladnije tonove.
But when I got this Tarte
palette, at first glance I knew I would use it often. The Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Volume II limited palette is a part of
the Tarte Spring 2017 collection that came out in December 2016. Prior to this
palette there is a original Tarte Rainforest of the Sea palette. The difference
in the two palettes is that the first contains warmer and the other cool-toned
shades.
Krenimo od pakiranja, cijene i gramaže palete.
Sjenila se nalaze u okruglom pakiranju koje je nešto manje od CD-a, a izrađeno
je od čvrste plastike. Na prednjoj strani naslikan je koraljni greben u
kombinaciji crne, ljubičaste, plave i zlatne boje, dok se na poleđini nalazi
ime palete kao i oznaka da se sjenila iskoriste u roku od 12 mjeseci, što moram
priznati, rijetko poštujem. 😊
Pakiranje je kvalitetno izrađeno, poprilično teško, a unutar palete nalazi se
okruglo ogledalo koje je dovoljno veliko da ga mogu koristiti za nanošenje
cijelog make up-a. Cijena joj je 36
dolara (230 kuna), no trenutno je na njihovoj službenoj stranici ova paleta
na sniženju te se može kupiti za 180
kuna. Za tu cijenu dobivate osam limitiranih
sjenila od kojih svako sadrži 1,5 g.
Sjenila su proizvedena u Italiji te ne sadrže parabene, ftalate, mineralna ulja,
SLS i gluten. Dermatološki su testirana i sigurna za osobe koje nose leće.
Let's start from the packaging, the price and the eye shadow
base weight. The shades are placed in a round package, slightly smaller
than a CD and made of solid plastic. On the front side there is a coral reef
painted in combination with black, purple, blue and gold colors, while on the
back you can read the name of the pallet as well as the mark that the shades should
be used within 12 months, which I have to admit, rarely respect. 😊 The packaging is very
nicely made, it's quite difficult, and inside the pallet there is a round mirror
that is large enough so I use it for applying my whole make up. The price of this palette is 36$ (230 kunas), but it's currently on sale on their official page for 180 kuna. For this price you get eight limited edition eye shadows each
containing 1.5 g. The shades are
manufactured in Italy and do not contain parabens, phthalates, mineral oils,
SLS and gluten. They are dermatological tested and safe for lenses users.

Pearl
–
kremasta, perla bijela nijansa toplog podtona. Ja je koristim kao highlighter,
ispod obrve i u kutu oka. Vrlo je mekana na dodir, fino mljevena i lako se
blenda. Ne sadrži šljokice i odlično izgleda i na vrhovima jabučica.
Pearl -
creamy, pearly white shade with warm undertone. I use it as a highlighter,
under the eyebrow and in the corner of the eye. It's very soft, finely miled
and easy to blend. It does not contain glitter and has a nice sheen.
Conch
–
jedna od nijansi koja se najteže prenosi iz pana na kist. Potpuno je mat,
svijetla bež nijansa, toplog podtona koju nanosim kao bazu preko cijelog kapka.
Iako je vrlo mekana pod prstom, imam osjećaj da je previše „zbijena“ i zbog
toga je teže raditi s njom, pogotovo sa mekim kistovima.
Conch - one
of the shades that I've had difficulties to transfer from a pan on to a brush.
It' s a matte, light beige shade, with warm undertone. It's very subtle and I
apply it as a base across the entire lid. Although it's very soft under my
finger, I feel that the consistency of this eye shadow is dense and firm and
therefore it's harder to work with it, especially with soft brushes.
Sunset
–
žuto, zlatna topla nijansa sa narančastim podtonom i metalik završetkom.
Pigmentacija joj je vrlo dobra, lako se nanosi na kist i blenda na kapku jer je
manje „zbijena“ od prethodne nijanse.
Sunset -
yellow, golden warm shade with orange undertone and metallic finish. Its
pigmentation is very good. It's easy to apply it to the brush and blend on to
the lid because it's less "tight" than the previous shades.
Marina – uz Conch, ova topla smećkasta, karamel mat nijansa druga je nijansa s kojom imam najviše problema kada je pokušavam nanijeti na kist. Pod prstima je jako kremasta, no sa kistom moram nekoliko puta prolaziti po panu da bi vidjela pigmentaciju. Idealna je za nanošenje u pregib kapka. Lako se blenda, no u panu je tamnija no što bude na kapcima.
Marina – beside Conch, this warm brownish, caramel-colored shade is the second shade with which I've had most problems when trying to apply it to the brush. It's very creamy under my fingers, but with a brush I have to go through the pan several times to get any pigmentation. It's ideal for transition shade in the crease. It's easy to blend, but the shade is darker in the pan that applied to the lid.
Seaside
–
srednje tamna smeđa lješnjak nijansa, također toplog podtona. Ostavlja satenski
završetak te se lakše nanosi od prethodne nijanse.
Seaside - a
medium dark brown hazel shade, has a warm undertone. It has a satin finish and
it's easier to apply than the previous shade.
Siren
–
najtamnija od tri smeđe nijanse u ovoj paleti. Vrlo je pigmentirana, lako se
nanosi na kapak no rubovi sjenila se teže blendaju. Odlično služi i kao zamjena
za smeđu olovku za obrubljivanje kapka sa tankim kistom.
Siren - the
darkest of the three brown shades in this palette. It's very pigmented, easily
applied to the lid, but the edges of the shade when applied are harder to
blend. It can also be used as a substitute for a brown pencil to underline the
lid with a precise brush.
Breezy
–
tamno siva nijansa sa „frosty“ završetkom. Jedna od dvije nijanse hladnog
podtona u ovoj paleti. Odlična je za postizanje smokey eyes.
Breezy -
dark gray shade with frosty finish. One of the two shades with cool undertone in
this palette. It's great to achieve smokey eyes.
Riptide
–
tamno siva, gotovo crna nijansa koja se presijava na tamno plavo. U sebi sadrži
sitan, fino mljeveni shimmer. Najpigmentiranija nijansa koja je lako blenda, te
nije patchy, nego se ravnomjerno nanosi na kapak. Hladnog je podtona.
Riptide - a
dark gray, almost black shade with bluish micro shimmer. It's intensely
pigmented, easy to blend and it's not patchy. It has a cool undertone.
Sva sjenila su vrlo kremasta, mekana pod prstima, no imaju gustu formulu i neka se teško prenose
iz pana na kist. Niti jedna nijansa nije
praškasta niti se trusi što je veliki plus ako, kada se šminkate, prvo
nanosite podlogu pa onda sjenila kao ja. Sjenila se lako blendaju, ne skupljaju se u pregibu kapka te su na meni počela
blijediti tek nakon 7 sati (bez baze za
kapke!).
All the eyeshadows are very creamy, soft under the fingers,
but they have a dense, thick formula
and some of them are difficult to get out from the pan to a brush. The shades aren't powdery and they are free
from fall out issues. That's a big plus if you are like me and first apply
foundation and then eyeshadows when doing your make up. The shades are easy to blend and have a crease-free formula. They can be
applied with the fingers too and look amazing. This palette has a good wear, the shades started to fade after 7 hours
(without base for the lids!).
Iako je ovo paleta koju Tarte
naziva hladnijom paletom u odnosu na prvu, ja bih rekla da se radi o
kombinaciji tonova gdje prevladavaju
tople nijanse. Breezy i Riptide su jedine nijanse hladnog podtona s kojima
se može napraviti izvrstan smokey eyes i večernji look. Dok je ostatak nijansi
toplog podtona i idealan za prirodne, dnevne kombinacije. Sviđa mi se što su u
paleti objedinjene nijanse s kojima mogu postići različite dnevne i noćne
look-ove i to sa samo osam boja.
Although Tarte says that
this is the cooler of the two palettes, I would say that in this palette you
can find a combination of warm and cool shades, but the warm shades are in
majority. Breezy and Riptide are the only shades with cool undertone and with
them you can make a great smokey eyes for the evening look. With the rest of
the shades with warm undertone you can achieve beautiful natural, daily
combinations. I like this palette
because it has different shades with which I can achieve different day and
night looks with just eight colors.
Ovo je idealna paleta za
putovanja zbog svoje veličine i sjenila uz pomoću kojih možete dnevni look
pretvoriti u noćni u nekoliko koraka. Sviđa mi se što niti jedno sjenilo nema
velike šljokice, već su sjenila koja sadrže shimmer toliko mekana i fino mljevena
da se zaista vidi razlika u usporedbi sa nekim drogerijskim sjenilima. Kada sam
u žurbi, a želim staviti malo boje na kapke, najčešće posegnem za ovom paletom
jer nijanse mogu nanijeti i prstima, a rubove ublažiti i izblendati sa mekanim
kistom. Bez straha da će dio sjenila završiti i na mojim podočnjacima. 😊
This is an ideal travel
palette due to its size and combination of eyeshadows, with which you can turn
a day look into the night look in just a few steps. The shimmer factor isn't as
strong in this palette, the shades are more satiny matte. But the eyeshadows
that contain shimmer are so soft and finely ground that you can really see the
difference in quality compared to some drugstore eyeshadows. When I'm in a
hurry, and I want to put some eyeshadow on my lids, I usually go for this
palette because the shades can be applied with my fingers, and the edges softened
and blended with a soft brush. Without the fear that some of the eyeshadow will
end up on my bags under the eye. 😊

Meni paleta izgleda predivno, ambalaza jako lijepa a i nijanse mi se stvarno svidaju.

IzbrišiBaš sam ju gledala kada mi je došao mail sa tarte stranice, ali kako to biva, naša carina me jako voli pa ju nisam naručila... No divna je, kao i sve od tarte-a :D
OdgovoriIzbrišiSve mi je jasno.. Ja sam imala sreće jer sam ju dobila direktno iz Amerike preko obiteljskog prijatelja. Da nema te carine sigurno bih se češće odlučila priuštiti si neki komad šminke kojeg nema kod nas. A paleta, koliko je divna iz unutra toliko je krasna i izvana, služi mi kao ukras na kozmetičkom stolu. :)
